Class NB and Class AT both enjoyed a visit to Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre this week to support their science learning on the topic of space. They took part in two workshops during the day. One based around Tim Peake's work on the international Space Station while the other involved designing a way of landing a robot safely on the surface of Mars. The rest of the day was taken up with looking at the various space-themed exhibits, including a fascinating clockwork model of the Solar System and walking around the perimeter of the famous Lovell telescope. All the pupils enjoyed the visit and were a credit to the school in the way the behaved.
