The first sports event of the school year between the North Staffs Special Schools was a Unihoc tournament held at Biddulph Valley Leisure Centre.

The Meadows School had a mixed team of boys and girls, aged 11 to 15, some of whom were new to school, and others more experienced players. We played seven other local schools and won the tournament.

This was a great start for Mr Hiscock who is now helping to develop our P.E. department and it was his first interschool sports event.

Certificates were presented in assembly, while we await the arrival of the Unihoc trophy and medals.

Congratulations everyone – you have set the bar high for future sports challenges!
