One of our school Sixth Formers held a Coffee Morning recently, at Trinity Church in Leek, to raise funds for the Ukrainian Crisis.

This was as part of the volunteering section of the Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Items for sale included homemade cake, hot drinks, jigsaws and plants.

The morning was hectic with lots of the early customers snapping up Rocky Road and Chocolate Brownie Cakes.

The fantastic sum of £870 was raised to help the humanitarian crisis in the Ukraine.
